Completed Hearings

February 24 -26:

These hearings focused on participants’ opening statements and provided an opportunity for participants (groups, organizations and individuals granted formal standing) to address the Commissioner and to set out the issues and matters that participants would like to see the Inquiry address.

These hearings dealt with an overview of the money laundering topic and regulatory models. Adjustments to the hearing plan were made in response to the global pandemic and its impact on some participants and witnesses.
